To get away from the typical Bristol beer and cider pub theme, The Milk Thistle offers a completely different experience. Hidden in a beautiful historic building in the city centre, this 'secret' bar is directly inspired by the American Prohibition speakeasy , a relaxed lounge-style establishment where whiskies and cocktails were drunk in large dark sofas with subdued lighting. Prices may be higher than at the more popular addresses in the area, but sipping a cocktail is priceless.
