The 1649 th century listed building was the headquarters of King Charles II during the Battle of Worcester in, while the English civil war raged. It is now the main historical museum of the city, opened in 1977. It tells the past through the use of places under several periods: medieval, tudorienne, cromwellienne, Georgian, Victorian and modern.
