Just outside the fortified walls lies the ruins of a former Roman amphitheatre which form a large half-circle. Only half of the overall structure was raised, the site being subject to ongoing archaeological work. Built in 86 apr. It contained 7 000 places for spectators attending combat exercises or parades. A replica of the sanctuary dedicated to Nemesis, goddess of revenge, was carried out on the site, one of which can be seen in the Grosvenor Museum, where the parts found during the excavation of the site are also displayed. In the peaceful Roman Garden, at the feet of fortified walls, stones and columns of Roman times were arranged on the lawns. The soil of a hypocaust, an underground heating system, was reconstituted in a place of the garden.
