Located in an imposing historical building, this museum had several residences before returning to its original walls in 2014. Born in 1835, he has collected hundreds of objects that have witnessed the history of Shropshire over the years. Today, his collection consists of more than 300,000 pieces, from prehistoric to Victorian times. The region's past can be discovered through archaeology, decorative arts, photography, geology, numerous paintings, archives and temporary programming.
