This is one of Birmingham's most famous pubs, just opposite the cathedral. The exceptional interior is worthy of a palace with ornate ornaments and impressive gilded under the huge glass roof of the ceiling. The clientele is well-known for business travellers who are all located around the central bar late in the afternoon. Real ales are numerous, of quality, and they can also be restored. There is even a theatre on the floor.
