The Rose Villa is slightly eccentric on the edge of the Jewel quarter, but is very well worth a visit. It seems to be all right out of the imagination of Lewis Carroll or Tim Burton. The building dates back to 1919 and has beautiful stained glass windows. Between its walls, a telephone booth parallels biscornus luminaires and strange ephemera drawings to the walls. A good selection of beers and a few dishes for eating.
