This prestigious 17th century mansion was designed and built by architect John Thorpe for Sir Thomas Holte, a landowner from Warwickshire. Acquired by Birmingham City Hall in 1864, it can be walked again after major renovations to admire its period furniture, its large gallery and gardens. There is also a retrospective on its role over time. Access to the gardens is free of charge.
