MENHIR SPITZSTEIN
A thousand-year-old menhir decorated with crosses and traditions, offering paths to explore this curiosity steeped in history.
Spitzstein, "pointed stone", is an authentic menhir, three metres high and around one metre thick. Crosses were engraved on three of its faces to Christianize it in the Middle Ages. A cavity carved into the stone was intended as a support for a statue that no longer exists, but it is traditional to place various offerings and small change there. There are several foot and mountain bike trails to discover this curiosity. Loops show you several points of interest on the same circuit.
