THE OAK ROOM AT MIDDLETHORPE HALL
Lovers of good weather can take a seat in the, hall of the Oak Room'The Oak Room'to enjoy dishes cooked by Chef Nicolas Evans, several times rewarded by his peers. On the menu, dishes worthy of the largest tables in England, such as this Twenty-six Hour Roasted Rosé Rosé Calf, accompanied by small vegetables and truffles or Duck Conflict and Duck Access Bowl with rhubarb and pistachio. Porcelain dishes, silver covered, candles, breathtaking views of the gardens and the park, the staff is also in the diapason, smiling and attentive. The wine list is impressive, many great wines from France, Italy, North and South America, New Zealand… The English cheese plate deserves to be looked after, it reserves pleasant surprises! In the afternoon, the Oak Room became one of York's great places for afternoon tea.
