This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful views in York, on the banks of the River Ouse. Of the 78 rooms, the ones overlooking the river are the most pleasant. But if you choose one of the other rooms, you can always relax in the lounges with balconies facing the boats. The bedding is excellent and there is plenty of practical storage space, a desk and a flat screen TV. The walls are covered in warm colours and display some photos of the city. In the bathrooms, immaculate bathtubs and hairdryers are available.
