Goathland is a charming village in the county of North Yorkshire. It is famous for being the location of the village "Aidensfield" in the TV series Heartbeat. The Halmer Grange Guest House, a 4-star hotel, was featured in an episode of the series. Located behind the village church, the Halmer Grange offers 4 recently refurbished en-suite rooms. The village railway station, just a 15-minute walk from Halmer Grange, is famous for having been used as the setting for "Hogsmeade" station in the first Harry Potter films. With hiking trails through beautiful countryside and a location midway between the center of the National Park and the North Yorkshire coast, Goathland offers an abundance of breathtaking scenery for walkers and photographers alike.
