It has been thought to be here for centuries, but this vast 16th century house has actually been moved from Kent to Manchester to make it an original, anachronistic pub amidst ultra-modern buildings. Made of bricks, wood and sheet metal, its stoned armchairs are just as popular as its huge terrace. Good choice of beers. Food available.
