HOME
Home is a brand new cultural centre that emerged from the ground in the spring of 2015, as part of a rehabilitation project on First Street. A stone's throw from Deansgate station, it is entirely dedicated to contemporary arts, theatre, cinema and literature. It houses a 500-seat theatre, several galleries, five cinemas, a bookshop, a café and a restaurant. Its birth marks the merger of the Cornerhouse and the Library of Theatre Company, two former Manchunian institutions. Thanks to Home, Manchester is once again proving that it can renew itself and remain at the forefront of culture.
