THE EGG CAFE
It is the vegetarian landmark in Liverpool, on the top floor of an old building in an almost deserted street. The staircase puts in condition: colourful walls with purple paint and vegetal motifs, and we find the same style once the door is pushed in, the living plants in addition. This cheerful canteen is built around a vast open space and a friendly mezzanine floor with a roof. Small green leaves are even drawn from the pillars to the beams. On the menu: vegetarian or vegan dishes to choose from at the counter. With the soup of the day, it's impossible to be wrong. But if you regret not being able to taste the local dish because you don't eat meat, you should know that a vegan scouse is on the menu every Monday. On the playlist side, the rather rock selection will delight music lovers. Hippie and family gatherings with a few groups of friends in this well-kept secret sanctuary. A very good animated and colorful address, for lovers of the genre.
