HARD DAYS NIGHT HOTEL * * * *
In a superb Victorian building in the heart of the Cavern Quarter, this luxurious hotel has put everything into the Beatles theme. The main staircase traces their history and ascent: the higher you go up the floors, the more recent the photos are. The 110 rooms are very neat and cosy, with a unique decoration and an original painting inspired by the Fab Four. The furniture combines a 1960s style with contemporary touches; there are several cupboards and the bathrooms are equipped with either a shower or a bathtub. Connected TVs offer music and Internet, and wifi is available everywhere. Tea and coffee available. At the entrance, a doorman reminds us how chic the establishment is, and the welcome is very pleasant. For non-residents, the hotel's restaurant, Blakes, as well as a cocktail bar are open to all. If you want to break the piggy bank, the John Lennon and Paul McCartney suites make your stay unforgettable.
