THE PARR STREET HOTEL * * * *
This recording studio, where Grace Jones and Echo and the Bunnymen, among others, performed, has 12 rooms with private bathrooms that are accessed by an old freight elevator. Their refined design is tempered by a few pop and glamorous accessories: pretty lights, cushions or psychedelic poufs. We are not trying to impress: elegance is about the right accessory, the beauty of the materials. Large beds with leather headrests, minibar and massage integrated into the shower ensure real comfort. For smaller budgets, pods (a kind of micro-chamber chalet style) are also available, with shared bathrooms. We are in the heart of the club district and some evenings can be quite noisy in summer. On the first floor, a bar-restaurant, the 3345, serves as copious plates at reasonable prices. Wifi throughout the building.
