THE CAVERN PUB
Located opposite the Cavern Club, the pub is an extension of it. It was opened in front of the club to play small groups and have a bar overlooking the street. A statue of John Lennon throne next to the entrance of this rock temple'roll where you sip his beer by discovering pictures of archives, guitars and gold discs of the "Four boys in the wind". There were other rock bands going there. Their names are engraved on a copper plate, near the bar. Today, the pub is always playing groups some nights. Don't miss out outside to look at the «wall of celebrities», each brick named after a star coming here, including Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones or Who… Posted on another wall: gold discs given to Liverpool musicians who have reached first place in charts.
