MERSEY FERRIES
River Explorer is a key to discovering Mersey's personality and maritime history. The cruise lasts 50 minutes, accompanied by audio comments. It is possible to stop at Seacombe and Woodside on the other shore, to walk and take the shuttle later. The panoramic views are exceptional. With Manchester Ship Canal Cruise, you'll find six hours of ferry between Liverpool and Salford, the old mancunien industrial port. It is a good way of discovering the common past of these two cities and their many complementary relationships: one is, in a way, the cotton port of the factories of the second. Upon arrival, 2 hours of break are granted prior to the return by bus (1 hours drive). The opportunity to jump to the Imperial War Museum or to the Lowry, two emblematic museums in Manchester.
