Built in 1852, this small brick house belonged to the officer of the captain's office. When Liverpool was hit by Luftwaffe bombs, it miraculously survived its three neighbours, devastated on the same platform. Today, it opens its doors to surrender itself as it was during the Second World War. In the living room, kitchen and bedroom, we discover the deprivations and living conditions of the time. Gas masks, furniture, ration books, the atmosphere is very special, a stone's throw from the many museums in the district.
