This glassblower museum has made Saint Helens famous in the urban area between Liverpool and Manchester. The craftsmen can be seen working live and the works on display are sumptuous. If you stay in town, jump to The Dream, a monumental sculpture 20 metres high, created by artist Jaume Plensa, representing the face of a young girl with closed eyes, built of concrete and white marble, at the top of a coal mine. We find it at Sutton Manor, exit 7 of the M62.
