JENKIN'S CRAG

Jenkin's Crag is a very popular and accessible walk, making it an activity appreciated by families. Visit Waterhead, at the level of YHA Ambleside youth hostel. Follow the A 591 towards Windermere a few minutes to Waterhead Marine, the last road building on the right. The trail starts right across the way. Climb the path over 300 metres and turn left and climb the hill to reach the bridge Bridge Beck. Turn right and continue to the Jenkin's Crag site. The view on Lake Windermere was recently elected the most romantic of the county of Cumbria. You can go down the same path or borrow another with the help of a card.
