Keswick's vast YHA Inn literally has its feet in the water, on the banks of the Greta River. A stone's throw from the city centre, its pubs and restaurants, there are rooms and dormitories for two to six people. The building has been welcoming visitors since the 1930s and underwent major renovations in 2006. It has all the usual features of the chain, with lounges, dining room, library and board games, shared kitchen, catering and drinks for sale. Internet access throughout the grounds and public parking 400 metres away.
