BEAMISH LIVING MUSEUM
Beamish is the largest outdoor museum in the north of England, on 140 hectares. Several villages in the region have been reconstituted at different times, years 1820, 1910 and 1940. The staging of domestic life and commercial activities is absolutely fascinating, thanks to actors in costumes and a quality game that make it a playful attraction and especially suited to families. We enter the shops, the houses, we talk to the people and we borrow the tram from one site to another, as then. It takes about 4 hours in the summer and 3 hours in the winter, thus taking a good half day of your program.
