The Riga station in Moscow is the one with the least traffic nowadays. Designed to connect the Baltic countries to the Moscow capital at a time when they were part of the Russian Empire, the station lost some of its purpose when they became independent.
This is still the place to go to if you want to get to Latvia, Estonia, Finland and the Russian cities in the northwest, but this little jewel of architecture in the neo-Russian style is best known today for its museum of trains and locomotives.
