VARENICHNAYA N°1 is another big chain (20 addresses in Moscow) of fast food where you will find Russian and Ukrainian cuisine revisited by Chef Alena Solodovitchenko. All this in a nostalgic soviet setting: a carpet with its three bears print on the wall, deliciously retro photos, vinyl records, a rare automaton from this bygone era with soda at the entrance and books from the famous ZhZL biography series that miraculously didn't end up in bookshops. You can eat there faster than you can eat well.
