Indeed, its production has a long tradition dating back to the time of its foundation for the court in 1744, making it the first in Russia and one of the oldest in Europe. Its ancient pieces are exhibited at the Hermitage, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and even at the NY Metropolitan. Today, the workshop makes luxury porcelain and commissions.
