CSKA MOSCOU
The stadium of the CSKA hockey team in Moscow is always a safe bet. The crowd there is usually very lively and fair play.
"CSKA" means "Army Sports Club". This name, rather imposing for a sports club, is a legacy of the USSR era when it was still the umbrella for Red Army sportsmen. Considered the second best club in Russia, it is known for its professional football team in which the Ministry of Defence remains a shareholder. The premises are in good condition, offering plenty of options for fans and are the centre of most of the city's important matches. This club is the rival of Zenit, so don't wear their jersey there!
