Moscow, the capital of Russia, is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city with many tourist attractions. To obtain a visa for France in Russia, applications must be submitted to the Consulate General of France in Moscow. Applicants can make an appointment at one of the 18 VFS Global centers in Russia to submit their application. However, please note that VFS Global centers are closed at weekends. It is important to note that France does not represent any Schengen state in Russia. Holders of diplomatic passports from the Russian Federation are exempt from short-stay visa requirements for France and European Union member states. In case of problems, VFS Global and the Consulate General of France in Moscow are available to provide assistance.
