The concept of tourist office is rather recent in the minds of Moscow tourist promoters. Before 2012 there were none of the offices now active in the airports and in the city centre. Moreover, the 2018 World Cup has allowed them to break in their system, including a more smiling and multilingual staff. Among the services on offer were a few maps and quite a few flyers for activities, as well as the possibility to register for tours.
