Despite the small size of this tower church, the Kolomenskoye Ascension is a unique and exceptional monument of Russian architectural heritage. Commissioned by Vasily III, it is one of the first octagonal churches in Russia, as well as one of the first to break away from the Byzantine style, asserting a unique Russian style. All this in a beautiful area that must be seen, especially in summer. It was in this beautiful classical church that Pushkin was married in 1831.

Il faut prendre le métro pour arriver dans le parc Kolomenskoye, où se situe cette belle église. La forme est originale, pyramidale.
