The great actress Maria Iermolova (1853-1928) played more than three hundred roles and had a profound impact on Russian theatre. She was a muse for the great master of theatre and creator of the method: Constantin Stanislavski. Opened in 1970, this small museum is part of the Moscow literary museum complex. It may be of interest to those who wish to discover the life of the Russian intelligentsia in the 19th and 20th centuries thanks to its exhibition of antique objects, as well as furniture, period photos, posters and documents.
