This small museum allows you to get away, for the duration of a visit (i.e. 30 to 40 minutes), from the mass of tourists around the Kremlin and St. Basil. It is located in a house built by the grandfather of Michael Romanov, the first czar of the ruling dynasty of Russia. The museum recreates the luxurious life of the Romanovs in the 16th century and you will be able to commune with the sad fate of this decadent family who succumbed to a revolution that it was unable to prevent.
