This is one of the artist Feodor Shalyapin's apartment-museums, the only one in Moscow. It is the only one of its kind in Moscow, and it is a perfect example of a 19th-century interior from the lifetime of the famous opera bass, whose fame at the time was comparable to that of George Clooney today.
