MUZEON PARK
Our favourite place for a stroll is the New Tretyakov Gallery and the (great) park of old Soviet statues.
This haven of peace on the Moskva quay is home to the New Tretyakov Gallery and the famous Park of Fallen Statues. The latter is a collection of Soviet statues that have been piled up here since the fall of the regime in 1991. The atmosphere is one of a necropolis and an urban festival. In addition to Lenin and Stalin in stone and steel, snow sculptures are erected throughout the park in winter. In summer, an open-air cinema opens its doors and concerts are organized. A unique atmosphere is guaranteed.
