This humble outdoor market (one of the oldest in the city) is an authentic Russian-style experience, as well as a place renowned for its value for money. Fruits and vegetables are sold here by local farmers with soil on their hands. The prices are not cheap: blackberries, blueberries and raspberries sell for 150 rubles (2 euros), three times cheaper than in a supermarket. The selection of cheeses is perhaps the best, with French and Swiss contraband selling for 800 rubles (11 euros) a kilo.
