This small museum nestled in a colourful wooden house on the family estate has a real charm. It displays artefacts of the Mamontov family of patrons and the works of the painters of the Abramtsevo circle they ran: many famous painters have stayed here, such as Vasnetsov, Repin, Korovin and Vroubel. If you come in winter, you can rent sledges and make memorable descents on the specially prepared slopes in the adjoining park.
