The Kolomna Kremlin was born at about the same time as its confreres, in the 16th century. It is not fully maintained (less than half of its towers are still standing) but many religious buildings are still active there, including its Cathedral of the Ascension (one more). There are several museums with permanent exhibitions, the museum of military glory, the museum of local life, the museum of the governor's house and one on the city's trading tradition. They are mainly collections of objects with ancient museography.
