CASTLE (ZÁMEK)
The 16th century fortress, then Renaissance, was, after the Thirty Years War, rebuilt in Baroque style. In 1908, the castle was bought by the industrialist J. Bartoň, who made it a modern residence with beautiful Art Nouveau decorations. But the exterior retains its Renaissance atmosphere, with its round tower (access to the top possible for an additional 50 Kč) and its facade decorated with sgraffiti. The terraced gardens are connected by a covered wooden bridge. Part of the park serves as a setting for some baroque statues by Matyáš Bernard Braun.
