OFFICE DE TOURISME
Broumov is a town in the Czech Republic, known for its rich cultural and historical heritage. The town was founded around 700 years ago by the Benedictine Order, which greatly influenced its development. Broumov was once a center for trade, crafts and the administration of abbey estates. Today, the town's historic center still retains its original layout, with main streets framing a large market square. There's also a castle, a parish church and a fortified monastery. During the 19th century, the town expanded beyond its medieval walls and new buildings were erected, including textile mills. However, in recent years, thanks to restitution and privatization processes, the town has begun to undergo a positive transformation.
