CASTLE (HRAD)
This former royal castle is now a museum. It retraces the history of wine and the different local processes used for wine making. It must be said that this castle has a very close link with the wine industry. In the 14th century, King Charles IV offered the city a hill on the sole condition that a vineyard be cultivated there. The castle was then used as a warehouse to store all the barrels. The discovery tour includes a visit to the vaulted cellars, where a number of tools related to viticulture and oenology are displayed.
