Built in the early twentieth century on the site of a chapel of 1878. To finance its construction, the Orthodox priest of the time collected funds from Russian and Serbian curists. This Orthodox church was built by Gustav Wiedermann on a Greek cross plan. Its lavish interior style, including a richly decorated earthenware iconostasis created for the Paris World's Fair in 1900, evokes its counterparts in Russia and Ukraine.
