The museum was opened in 2005 on the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Pilsen and southwest Bohemia by General Patton's troops on May 6, 1945. One is immersed in the atmosphere of the last battles - to the sound of sirens and sequences of period films -, the moments of conviviality with the population, but also the daily life after the war. One part is dedicated to George S. Patton, the legendary commander of the3rd American Army.
