This Benedictine monastery was founded in 1115 to promote the colonization of the region. The complex was remodeled at the beginning of the 18th century by the Italian-Czech architect Santini, in a Gothic-Baroque style. He transformed the Romanesque basilica into a monumental place of worship, topped by a dome. Inside, the mixture of severity and flamboyance is unique. Today, in addition to the church, there is a beautiful cloister with baroque statues, the library and a beautiful refectory.
