Founded in 1287 by King Wenceslas II, this imposing monastic complex was destroyed during the Hussite wars in 1421, and only the church managed to be saved. However, it was completely rebuilt in Baroque style in 1671, so that not much remains of the original buildings. The Augustinians returned in 1620 and, during the following centuries, they rebuilt the monastery and re-established their order. Visits are possible.
