The central square is surrounded by beautiful houses with sgraffito decorated walls. A bank once occupied an Art Nouveau house, the old baroque butcher's house dates back to 1700... but the most beautiful building is (of course) the old town hall, designed by Mikuláš Aleš. You can stroll through this beautiful city center at any time of the day or night. In the middle of the square stands the inevitable baroque Plague Column dedicated to the Virgin Mary
