1 km west of Tábor, take this short poetic walk along a pretty path of the cross lined with beautiful linden trees to the beautiful Klokoty monastery: a beautiful place of pilgrimage (August 15) in the Baroque style. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, not far from a fountain where the Virgin Mary appeared to young shepherds, it is enclosed by walls and surrounded by chapels. The baroque church is surmounted by ten towers topped with lantern bulbs. The hotels and guest houses are often fully booked around August 15.
