It is the cathedral of the Augustinian monastery (Klášter Augustiniánu), founded in 1350. The church was severely damaged during the Thirty Years' War and had to be rebuilt between 1665 and 1675 by J.-K. Erna, who designed the beautiful three-winged church with an impressive Gothic nave that can be seen today. Inside, don't miss the painting of the Black Madonna, patroness of the city.
