CAVES DE L’ARCHEVÊQUE (ARCIBISKUPSKÉ ZÁMECKÉ VÍNO)

A clever fellow, the archbishop of Kroměříž! In 1345, Emperor Charles IV authorized the archbishopric to produce mass wine. Since then, these cellars, which offer an ideal temperature, are the only ones in the country that produce wine according to standards expressly established by the Vatican. This wine, now exported abroad, contributes greatly to the economy of the archdiocese. The local wines are presented here and one can take advantage of the temporary tastings to become familiar with them.
