The "salées" which gush out here are mentioned in texts dating from 1668. But the spa itself was not founded until 1789. The six thermal establishments offer treatments based on waters renowned for their effects on patients suffering from respiratory or digestive diseases. In all, fourteen hydrocarbonate-chloride-sodium or sulfurous mineral waters are used. The most famous spring is Vincentka, which is bottled.
