The Museum of Modern Art in Olomouc has a fine collection of fine arts on the first floor, mainly paintings and sculptures. There are works by the great European masters, but especially by contemporary Czech artists. The second floor contains beautiful pieces of the Flemish school of the 16th and 17th centuries. The rooms on the second floor (for a fee) are worth a visit as much for their Art Nouveau decoration as for the temporary exhibitions.
